Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and inquisitive Astrobiologist to study the potential for life on other planets and moons in our Solar System. The ideal candidate will research extremophiles and other forms of life that could exist in harsh environments, contributing to our understanding of life’s adaptability.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on the potential for life in extreme environments on different celestial bodies.
  • Study extremophiles and other resilient forms of life.
  • Analyze samples from various planets and moons to identify signs of life.
  • Collaborate with planetary scientists and other researchers.
  • Develop hypotheses and conduct experiments to test the adaptability of life.
  • Publish findings in scientific journals and present at conferences.
  • Contribute to the development of life-detection technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Astrobiology, Biology, or a related field.
  • Experience with microbiology, biochemistry, or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with space exploration technologies and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and collaboration.
